James & Patrick

Love, Laughter & Dancing at The Trafalgar Tavern

James and Patrick’s wedding at The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich was one of those brilliant days where everything just clicked. With the Thames just outside and that unmistakable Greenwich character indoors, the venue set the tone perfectly. The ceremony took place inside the historic Nelson Room, surrounded by elegant details, personal touches, and a room full of proud, emotional guests. From the moment these two saw each other, the atmosphere shifted into something truly special – equal parts excitement, laughter, and a few sneaky happy tears.

After the ceremony, everyone stayed put… one of the perks of a Trafalgar Tavern wedding. Drinks flowed, confetti flew, and things quickly switched from formal to fun. The reception was full of personality, speeches that landed somewhere between emotional and downright hilarious, and music that got people on the dancefloor far earlier than expected. The whole day – from “I do” to the last move on the dancefloor – happened under one roof, which made the energy feel constant, natural, and brilliantly easy for everyone.

As a Trafalgar Tavern wedding photographer, it’s days like this that remind me why Greenwich is such a popular choice for couples – historic charm, stunning river views, and a relaxed setup that creates candid, authentic moments without the need to rush between venues.  You can read more about James & Patrick’s day here.
