Old Marylebone Town Hall | Boris & Trevor
A joyful Old Marylebone Town Hall ceremony followed by a relaxed London portrait walk.

Intimate Vows and a London Adventure
Boris and Trevor’s wedding began with an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall, one of London’s most iconic civil ceremony venues. Surrounded by a small group of their closest people, their vows were simple, heartfelt, and full of quiet emotion.
As an Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer, I always love how these smaller ceremonies feel - less rush, more connection, and space to really take it all in. The soft light inside the ceremony room, the famous steps outside, the just-married moment when everything suddenly feels real - it’s always special.

But this wedding didn’t stop at the steps.
From Ceremony to Stretched Limo
After the ceremony, we did something a little different.
Instead of heading straight to a reception, Boris and Trevor climbed into a stretched limo and turned their wedding day into a full-blown London adventure. And honestly? It suited them perfectly.
There’s something about a London wedding that gives you options no other city can.

Buckingham Palace
First stop: Buckingham Palace.
Classic. Grand. Instantly recognisable.
The contrast between their relaxed energy and the grandeur of the palace made for incredible wedding portraits. London gives you this built-in drama - you don’t need to overthink posing when the backdrop does half the work.

The London Eye & The Southbank
Next up was South Bank and the instantly recognisable London Eye.
This is where things loosened up even more. The movement, the skyline, the reflections on the Thames - it all adds life to London wedding photography. We walked, laughed, paused when the light hit right, and captured portraits that feel unmistakably “London”.
No stiff poses. No performance. Just two people having the time of their lives on their wedding day.

London Bridge
From there, we headed along the Southbank with a quick champagne stop top-up and then on to London Bridge.
London Bridge gives you scale. The skyline. The river. The energy of the city moving around you. It’s a brilliant location for couples who want their wedding photos to feel modern, bold, and unmistakably urban.
Boris and Trevor completely owned it.

The Final Stop: The Ritz
We finished at The Ritz London.
If Buckingham Palace is grandeur, The Ritz is timeless glamour. The architecture, the symmetry, the classic London elegance - it was the perfect way to close out their wedding portrait adventure.
As a London wedding photographer, days like this remind me why this city is unbeatable. Within a couple of hours, you can move from historic ceremony rooms to royal landmarks, riverside skylines, and five-star luxury.

A Different Kind of Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding
Boris and Trevor’s day proves something important:
An Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding doesn’t have to mean ceremony and straight to reception. London gives you freedom. If you want to build portraits around the city’s most iconic landmarks, you absolutely can.
Their wedding photos are a mix of intimate ceremony moments and bold London backdrops — relaxed, playful, and completely personal to them.
If you're planning an Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding and want to turn your day into a London adventure, I’d love to help you plan it and photograph it properly.
Because if you’re getting married in London, you might as well use London.
