Marylebone Wedding Photos | Deirdre & Mike
A relaxed Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding with a playful entrance and a wander through the streets nearby.
A playful entrance, a few quiet streets, and a lot of laughter.
Deirdre and Mike’s wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall had that perfect mix of calm and chaos you get in central London. Taxis passing. Guests gathering on the steps. Tourists half-aware they’re standing in the background of someone’s wedding photos.
And then Mike decided the best way to enter the building was to dramatically “drag” Deirdre inside.
It lasted about two seconds.
Everyone laughed.
It’s one of my favourite frames from the day.
No staging. No rehearsal. Just them.

A Ceremony That Didn’t Take Itself Too Seriously
Inside, the mood stayed exactly the same - relaxed, warm, and slightly mischievous.
There were smiles mid-vows, quick glances between them, and that quiet shift that happens right after the register is signed. The sort of moment where it suddenly feels real.
The best part? It all felt easy.
No overthinking. No grand performance. Just a ceremony that suited them.

Ten Minutes Around Marylebone
After confetti on the steps, we took a short wander.
Not a big production. No disappearing for half an hour. Just a loop around the nearby streets - a few frames on a crossing, a pause against a stone wall, a moment to breathe before heading back to everyone else.
Marylebone works well for that. You don’t need dramatic locations. The tone of the day carries the photos.
Their portraits aren’t overly styled. They’re natural, a little playful, and completely them.

Planning Your Own Marylebone Wedding?
If you’re keeping things simple, personal, and focused on the people in the room rather than the production around it, that’s exactly how I like to photograph it.
