I’m a London wedding photographer specialising in relaxed, documentary wedding photography for couples getting married at registry offices, town halls and iconic venues across the capital. From Marylebone Old Town Hall to Chelsea, Camden and Greenwich, I photograph weddings exactly as they unfold - naturally, without staging or turning your day into a performance.

I photograph weddings for all couples and all kinds of love, including beautiful celebrations for LGBTQ+ couples.

Wedding Photography Across London

As a London wedding photographer, I regularly photograph weddings at:

Old Marylebone Town Hall
Chelsea Old Town Hall
Camden Town Hall
Lambeth Town Hall
The Asylum Chapel
Islington Town Hall

Whether you're planning a short registry ceremony or a full-day London celebration, I document the real moments - not staged ones.

JON WAS SO FABULOUS, THE PERFECT BALANCE OF STEPPING UP AND GIVING DIRECTION TO GET THE BEST SHOTS BUT ALSO BLENDING INTO THE BACKGROUND CAPTURING ALL THE LOVELY CANDID MOMENTS.

You’ll probably read a lot of photographer bios that talk about destiny, lifelong callings, and cameras glued to their hands from childhood.

That’s not really my story.

I found photography later, after a few scenic career detours, and stuck with it because I prefer observing people to directing them. I’m also training to be a counsellor, which turns out to be genuinely useful when you’re working with real humans on an emotional, unpredictable day.

the camera is on me.
My job - to ensure you don't look like this!

*Disclaimer: picture taken on a mobile. I swear I look busier at weddings, but it's proof I exist... and feel free to ask me the meaning behind my tats!

OUR GUESTS ALL COMMENTED ON HOW FANTASTIC HE WAS. FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE, AND CLEARLY PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT HE DOES. HE BROUGHT A FRESH, FUN APPROACH TO OUR FORMAL SHOTS, AND WE HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME DURING OUR COUPLE PHOTOSHOOT.

Wedding Photography FAQs

Do you photograph registry office weddings in London?

Yes. A lot of them.

Registry office weddings are actually perfect for documentary wedding photography. They’re fast, intimate and usually packed with real moments because everything happens quickly. I regularly photograph ceremonies at Marylebone Old Town Hall, Chelsea Old Town Hall, Camden Town Hall, Greenwich and other London registry offices. Short coverage options (1–4 hours) are ideal for this kind of wedding.

What makes documentary wedding photography different?

Documentary wedding photography means I don’t stage your day or constantly direct you. I observe, anticipate and photograph what’s genuinely happening.

There’s no forced posing, no fake laughter, no turning your wedding into a photo shoot. You get real reactions, natural expressions and photos that feel like your day - not something manufactured for Instagram.

That doesn’t mean zero direction when needed. It just means your wedding stays a wedding.

Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples?

Absolutely.

I photograph weddings for all couples and all kinds of love. Your wedding isn’t a “special feature” or a marketing angle - it’s your day, and it’s treated exactly the same as every other celebration. Respectful, relaxed and focused on what actually matters: you and your people. I have more information here for LGBTQ+ couples.
